The "Call of Duty" franchise is a perennial blockbuster with annual releases.
Release dates for the PS5 and Xbox Series X versions of "Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War" haven't been confirmed yet, but Sony and Microsoft are expected to launch their respective new consoles in November. Players can preorder the game now for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X. "Black Ops Cold War" will be the first game in the series to test the potential of Sony and Microsoft's next-generation hardware as gamers decide whether or not to upgrade their consoles this fall.
"Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War" will be released worldwide on November 13.
